World Fair Trade Organization: globally connected
The WFTO is the global fair trade network of organisations in over 70 countries. From traders and exporters to producer cooperatives and retailers, everyone who is part of the fair trade movement is connected.
The common goal: to improve justice in world trade and to being able to exert a greater influence on improving the social situation of people in the “global South” by bundling the actors.
Fairtrade Organisations
In comparison to the Fairtrade label, organisations that are active in fair trade can be awarded the WFTO label. It is not a pure product label; rather refers to the company as a whole.
