Furoshiki

Furoshiki – a cotton allrounder

Derived from Japanese, Furoshiki describes a squared wrapping cloth which is used as an alternative to common packaging materials for presents. It is also used as a wrap for the popular bento box in asian countries, which makes it easier to carry. Here in Europe, those practical cloths has been named “Bündel“ in former times.

FAIR ZONE and Furoshiki

Constantly searching for clever zero-waste products, we came across the history of wipes. The special thing: We sew them ourselves from beautiful fabrics that have been sorted out at clothing stores. For this purpose we always use at least two different fabrics sewn against each other and the individual Furoshiki made in Sri Lanka is finished. We only use sari fabrics that make cleaning particularly easy (machine wash 30°C) and therefore the cloths last particularly long.

Please note that every cloth looks different and therefore we cannot consider any fabric and colour wishes.

Our unique Furoshikis are available in four sizes: Like that, everything from the little jewelry gift through the fine wine bottle to the XXL puzzle is wrapped fairly, sustainably and in style.
